It needs to be one that you are happy with, or you will wind up giving up on it and relapsing back into your old, detrimental habits. Also keep in mind that a diet does not mean starving yourself. A diet is simply watching what you eat, and how much of it. When it comes to healthy foods such as vegetables and fruits, you can oftentimes eat as much of them as you like.

2) Exercise: Diets tend to be pointless if you do not incorporate exercise into your new lifestyle simultaneously. Many professionals recommend that you do a minimum of 20 minutes of intense cardio a day. This exercise can be achieved in many forms, including walking, running, jogging, riding your bike, and swimming. Ride your bike to work, or go on a walk during your lunch break. It may seem like a daunting task to incorporate this much exercise into your daily life, but it truly isn’t.
3) Your Mindset: In order to get fit, you must have will power and determination. Without these, you will never be able to achieve the goals that you have set for your body. Stay focused and keep your eye on the goals that you have decided on. If you do not have the right mindset, you will then give up and not be able to lose weight and get fit.
